Momo Sylla is expected to be shown the door by Kilmarnock.
Killie boss Jim Jefferies revealed over the weekend that the former Celtic player had transgressed and both parties felt it was better that he now moved on.
"We need everyone pulling in the one direction and no disruptions," Jefferies explained. "He has apologised and said it is maybe best if he moves on, so it's a mutual thing.
"You can't have players doing whatever they like.
"If he can find a manager and a club that will let him get away with that, then good luck to him."
