Swindon Town crowned League Two champions

Swindon Town have been awarded with the League Two trophy as champions.

The clubs voted that the season would end without any more games taking place.

Due to COVID-19 lockdowns, the season is finished and the table was decided on a points per game basis.

Crewe and Plymouth are the other two clubs who get into League One automatically.

Cheltenham, Exeter, Colchester and Northampton will participate in the playoffs, which start on June 18.

The playoff final is set for June 29. Those matches will happen at Wembley and behind closed doors.

Relegation will only be ratified if the National League can give assurances that its competition will go ahead.

Stevenage are currently bottom, but second-bottom Macclesfield are facing a points deduction.
