Sweden coach Jann Andersson has dismissed talk of LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic making their World Cup squad.
The former Manchester United star has regained his fitness and form in MLS, scoring three times in four appearances.
The 36-year-old, who retired after Euro 2016, claimed on US TV last week, "I'm going to the World Cup", and Andersson has outlined just what Ibrahimovic must do to facilitate his stunning return.
"If he [Ibrahimovic] changes his mind, contacts me and tells me 'yes, I want to be part of it,' then we'll sit down and discuss what that would mean, how we play these days and so on," Andersson told Kicker.
“But that's all speculation. I don't know [if he'd still fit into the team]. But I also don't think about it. I take the things as they come if they come.
"If you want to be part of it, you must call me. Easy as that."
