Sweden chief Richt impressed by Ibrahimovic Man Utd comeback: But he must play more

Sweden management are impressed by Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return to action.

There has been talk of Ibrahimovic declaring himself available for Sweden's World Cup squad.

"It is impressive that Zlatan is back so fast," said Sweden team manager Lars Richt to Expressen.

"You do not know what his injury has been, at least not me. But it was a severe knee injury and it usually takes six months before you can even be in training and then another few months you can perform on the pitch."

Meanwhile, Richt insists Ibrahimovic's prospects of making the Sweden World Cup squad is a non-starter - for now.

"No, there's nothing new," he continued. "We're talking a little bit from time to time.

"There is no question. I say this: for it's going to be a question, he has to play more. It's not enough for him to play ten or fifteen minutes. Lastly, he has not said anything, so let's not ask that question."
