Swansea City will be in talks with Vitesse Arnhem today in an effort to close a deal for Wilfried Bony.

The South Wales Evening Echo says talks are still ongoing to try and snare the Ivory Coast striker, the club still hopeful of being able to negotiate their way to a record-breaking luring of the Dutch league's top scorer from Vitesse Arnhem.

Failure to reach an agreement to date has seen the 24-year-old being told by Vitesse to report for the start of pre-season training today.
