Crewe Alexandra has re-signed Alan Tate from Swansea City.
The 32-year old defender is back with the League One club after seeing his initial loan expire on December 24.
Tate originally joined Crewe in September and has now returned to Gresty Road for the remainder of the 2014/15 season.
The former Manchester United, Royal Antwerp, Leeds United, Yeovil Town and Aberdeen centre-back has made seven appearances for Steve Davis' side so far this term.
