Swansea City captain Garry Monk admits they had little answer to Liverpool on Sunday.

Swans were thrashed 5-0 at Anfield.

Monk, 33, said: "We got battered. It was pretty embarrassing and we didn't want a result like that leading into the final.

"But it's a wake-up call for us. We will use this to put fire in our belly."
