Swansea City put on show against Sky Bet League 1 opposition, thrashing Bristol Rovers 5-1 at the Memorial Stadium.
Francesco Guidolin's side raced into a 3-0 lead inside 20 minutes thanks to goals from Andre Ayew (6), Leroy Fer (13) and Stephen Kingsley (18) as the gulf in class told.
Kyle Naughton produced a neat finish to make it four just moments after the restart and though Rovers, who belatedly settled after the break, pulled one back when Luke James made a dart into the box and coolly beat Kristoffer Nordfeldt (50), Wayne Routledge added further gloss to the scoreline (68) when he tucked home a Jack Cork ball.
