Swansea scouts watch Porto pair against Benfica

Swansea City sent scouts to watch the Primeira Liga clash between Benfica and Porto as they watch the progress of players from both clubs.

Portuguese football analyst Tiago Estevao attended the game and confirmed the number of teams which had scouts in attendance. Among them was Swansea, as well as several other clubs from the Premier League.

One of the players who WalesOnline claim the Swans were watching was Porto striker Moussa Marega. The Mali international has scored 20 goals this season. The report also claims Swansea were watching Marega's teammate Vincent Aboubaker.

The Welsh outfit were reportedly close to luring Aboubaker last summer but eventually opted to recruit Wilfried Bony from Manchester City.

Aboubaker impressed during the weekend as he set up Porto's late goal for Hector Herrera in the game which went on to end 1-0.
