Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair says he will not shy away from penalty duties after his miss on the weekend.
The 22-year old had his spot-kick saved by Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart in the Swans' 1-0 win on Sunday to make it his first miss from five this season (and first in 14 overall) but he insists he will continue to be the man to step up to the plate.
"I'm not one to shy away from it - I've no problem taking the next one. I've got the mental strength to remain positive.
"The gaffer told me at half-time (last weekend) how important my penalties have been. I've scored 13 from 14, so it's not that bad a record.""I won't be shirking my responsibility. If we get another penalty then I'll be ready to take one. There's always pressure on taking a penalty because you are expected to score," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
