Striker Wilfried Bony is close to agreeing a new contract with Swansea City. The 25-year-old Ivorian joined the South Wales outfit for a club-record fee of £12m in 2012 and still has three years left on his current deal.
"Negotiations are going very well. Hopefully things will be done this week," said Bony.
"I have a great relationship with my team-mates, the staff and fans. It is a fantastic club and I am I am happy to be here.
"I am focussed on Swansea and a one-year extension would be perfect for me."
