Swansea City haven't ruled out keeping hold of fullback Neil Taylor.

The Daily Star says they will offer Taylor a lucrative new deal to persuade the defender to turn his back on a move to Newcastle United.

Everton are also eyeing the left-back in the event they're forced to sell Leighton Baines.

Toon were granted permission to speak to Taylor after lodging a £1 million offer last month.
