Swansea make offer for Panathinaikos striker Govou

Swansea City have made an offer to Panathinaikos striker Sidney Govou.

Govou, 31, has toldL'Equipe that he has offers at home and in England and will make a decision soon.

"I have another year of my contract with Panathinaikos but I think I would have no problem getting out of it. It is true that a French club has approached me, but there are many things to discuss," he said.

"And also I have an offer from an English club. I've always wanted to play in the Premier League and still think it could give a good performance. In these coming days I will make a decision."
