Swansea City are chasing Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.

The Sun says Swans will have to fork out £4.5million for Shelvey.

Talks about a move for Liverpool's England Under-21 midfielder have opened between the two clubs.

Shelvey, 21, is not a major part of Brendan Rodgers' plans and the Kop will cash in on a player they signed from Charlton for £1.7m in 2010.
