Swansea City are launching a bid for Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente.
The Daily Mail says Llorente is top of chairman Huw Jenkins' shortlist to resolve what is an increasingly desperate situation and a move has been made to sign him.
Sevilla want in the region of £6million for the 31-year-old, who was part of the Spain squads that won the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship.
Real Sociedad are Swansea's prime rivals for the striker.
