Former Swansea City defender Alan Tate has joined Port Talbot Town.

He spent over 14 years at the Premier League outfit, with his last season at the club being the 2014/15 campaign.

The Blues hope their capture of Tate, who started his career at Manchester United between 2000 and 2004 before signing for Swansea City in 2004 after two loan spells at the South Wales club, will help them revive their domestic season.

Tate be eligible for his new club's next game when Bangor City visit the Genquip Stadium.
