Swansea City are chasing a loan deal for Manchester United midfielder James Garner.
The Manchester Evening News says United have made it clear the 19-year-old would be sent out on loan for the 2020/21 campaign.
South Wales rivals Swansea may prove to be the ideal destination, as Garner has already worked with boss Steve Cooper when he was England Under-17s manager.
Cooper is a known admirer of the player and could be keen to press for a move, depending on whether the Swans win promotion through the play-offs.
Doncaster Rovers have also been touted for a swoop for central midfielder Garner, but it's understood that United would prefer to loan him to a Championship club.
