Swansea City shareholder John van Zweden admits the success of Wilfried Bony has surprised him.
The Ivory Coast striker was sold to Manchester City earlier this month for £30 million.
Van Zweden told Voetbal International: "Before, I was quite skeptical, a striker from the Dutch league of whom I had the impression that he was frustrating on the field and did not run a lot.
"But Bony has proved a great man and has so developed to a level that going to Manchester City he can easily handle.
"He's very strong, can hold off two, three opponents constantly."
