Swansea chairman ready to sack Guidolin

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins is ready to sack manager Francesco Guidolin, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Swans are preparing to face Manchester City for the second time this week at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, and the report claims that this could quite possibly be the last game in charge for Guidolin.

The Swans have struggled under the Italian this season and have managed only four points from five league games.

Earlier this week, they bowed out of the EFL Cup after losing the third-round game 2-1 to City.

Jenkins has reportedly shortlisted Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs as one of the main candidates to replace Guidolin, who steered the Swans to safety after taking over in January when they were just two points above the drop zone.
