Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers has backed Manchester City in their row with Carlos Tevez.
City have suspended the maverick Argie for refusing to play at Bayern Munich.
Rodgers said: "I thought City were spot on. It's hard to defend the indefensible. Everyone knows he's a top talent but, if that's what happened, it's a total lack of respect, not only for the manager but also the football club.
"Thousands of supporters had travelled out to Munich and the very least you can do is get on the field and fight for the result."
