Swansea City boss Garry Monk has sympathy for Louis van Gaal over the pressure of expectations at Manchester United.
While Van Gaal has been able to splash the cash to the tune of around £230million during his time at Old Trafford, Monk has spent barely a tenth of that in making Swansea a top-eight side.
But the 36-year-old does not reckon spending power means Van Gaal has the easier job.
"It's a difficult one as I don't think it's ever easy to manage those clubs as the pressure is massively intense," he said.
"Any mistake, any loss is scrutinised unbelievably. People are already talking about who has dropped points to Manchester City and making judgements."
