Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup admits he wanted to sign Newcastle United striker Loic Remy in the summer.
Laudrup admits his side will need to stop him, and his main supply man Yohan Cabaye, if they are to take all three points.
"He's really a player. I like him a lot," Laudrup said of Remy. "He was one of the players I was interested in last summer. There's no doubt about that.
"He is a player that I like. He has everything. He has speed, individual quality and goals.
"There are two key Newcastle players to stop. Remy and the delivery to him which comes from Cabaye. They are the main threats."
