Suwon coach to handle K-League All-Star team in Jomo Cup

Suwon Bluewings coach Cha Bum-kun will take the reins of the K-League All-Star team at the Jomo Cup in August. The team will face their Japanese counterparts at Seoul World Cup Stadium on August 8 and Cha is looking forward to the clash.

"It is an honour to coach the K-League All Star team," Cha said at a press conference to promote the event.

"We won against the J-League last year and I want to win it this year as well because the match will be played in Seoul."

Kashima Antlers tactician Oswaldo Oliviera will coach the J-League team and said the match would be great for fans.

"Japan and Korea are powerhouses in Asian football. We will play do our best for the fans of both countries."

The Jomo Cup was launched in 2008 as a means of establishing football links between the leagues of Japan and Korea.
