The Sunday Mirror says super agent Pini Zahavi - the man with the best worldwide contacts when it comes to trading players - was at the Melwood training centre on Tuesday.
Liverpool chief Damien Comolli is now working with new manager Kenny Dalglish on short and long-term transfers.
Zahavi is back in England after spending last month in Brazil.
