Emanuele Giaccherini is set to join Napoli after agreeing personal terms with the club, according to reports.
The Daily Mail understands that despite the fact Sunderland and Napoli are yet to agree a transfer fee, the winger is keen to push through a move.
The 31-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Bologna, has just a year to run on his Black Cats contract and is reportedly available for less than £1.5million but the Wearside club are looking for an increased fee following his impressive performances for Italy at Euro2016.
Giaccherini reportedly dreams of a move to Chelsea to link up with his former Juventus and Azzurri boss Antonio Conte but it appears a shift to Naples is on the cards, provided Maurizio Sarri's side can sort out a fee with Sunderland.
