Sunderland striker Joel Asoro has welcomed interest from Arsenal.

The Gunners are being linked with a double raid on Sunderland for Asoro and fellow Swede Benjamin Mbunga Kimpioka.

Asoro told Fotbollskanalen: "It's crazy. I've heard that clubs are interested, but I do not know if it's more than that.

"It is clear that it is always fun that teams like Arsenal show interest. It raises self-esteem, but I can not run around and think about it now.

"I'm in the Euros and maybe there would have been another thing if I had been in England. Now I'm here and will try to think about it."
