Rangers boss Walter Smith is delighted with their capture of Sunderland striker David Healy.
Healy was at Hampden to see Rangers win through to the final of the Co-operative Insurance Cup final against Celtic with a 2-1 victory over Motherwell.
He told the club's official website: "I had a trial with Rangers when I was 14 but I couldn't sign back then as I was a little bit too young.
"But it's been well documented that I am a Rangers fan as are all my family.
"My dad comes on the boat to watch a lot of the games with his friends so it's a boyhood dream for me.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to be here."
