Sunderland are ready to deal in free agent James McFadden.
The Daily Mail says the Scotland forward, 28, has an offer from Wolves but is no longer training with them.
The 28-year-old also has interest from Blackburn Rovers and former club Birmingham City.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy said: "We made him an offer but I understand he's got a few others."
