Sunderland are planning to send teenage goalkeeper Max Stryjek back to Boston United.
Stryjek is a talented young goalkeeper within the Sunderland ranks and he spent the final two months of last season on loan with the Conference North club, where he made a big impression.
As a result, Boston manager Dennis Greene is keen on taking Stryjek back on loan but accepted that a deal will not come into fruition ahead of pre-season.
Greene said: "We're going to try and do that [the loan], but nothing will happen for a while. It won't be until pre-season when they'll assess what they're going to do."
With the likes of Vito Mannone, Costel Pantilimon and Jordan Pickford already present at the club, Sunderland are open to the idea of sending out Stryjek on another loan spell at Boston.
