John O'Shea has been named Football Association of Ireland's (FAI) Player of the Year.
The Sunderland defender landed the individual prize at the FAI awards on Sunday night for a fine year at international level for Republic of Ireland.
Joining O'Shea on the winners' dais was Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish who took out the U21 Player of the Year award while former player Andy Townsend was inducted into the FAI Hall of Fame.
