Sunderland boss Roy Keane is putting six players up for sale.

The Daily Mail says Sunderland manager Roy Keane last night announced he is prepared to listen to offers for Greg Halford, Ross Wallace, David Connolly, Graham Kavanagh, Ian Harte and Stephen Wright.

The Sunderland boss paid Reading £3million last summer for full back Halford, who could be a Charlton target, while winger Wallace appeared on the verge of his first Scotland call.

Keane said: "We are looking to bring players in and have to manage the squad."
