Sunderland midfielder Andy Reid is eager to stay with Sheffield United.
United boss Gary Speed wants to extend his loan deal.
Republic of Ireland international Reid, 28, said: "Life's good at Sheffield.
"Everyone's been good to me, the manager, the players, fans, everybody. So it's enjoyable. I want to get games in and see how it goes from there.
"I'm just going to get on with playing football and let people who deal with that side of things sort that out.
"Just get on the pitch and play. That's all I want to do."
