Sunderland legend Peter Reid is delighted with Dick Advocaat's return.

Reid is a big fan of the Dutchman.

He told talkSPORT: "I think his (Ellis Short's) decisions have been poor. I don't think [Paolo] Di Canio was the right fit, I know he had a couple of good results, but I don't think he was the right fit and it went wrong.

"But I think Dick Advocaat is the right fit. He's proven and I think he'll get that stability the club needs."
