Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon is feeling settled on Wearside after a tough first season.

He said: "You know everybody around the club and everything that goes on day to day, and it does help.

"You know what to expect coming into training, you know the arrangements for everything we do here. That does help and the sooner the guys get to know that, I am sure it will help us on the park as well.

"It's been a decent start to the season for me, including the international games.

"I have done well going away with Scotland and to come back and continue that at the start of the Premier League has been a good start for me.

"But I know I have to keep that going."
