Sunderland fullback George McCartney has decided to retire from international football.
McCartney is currently on-loan at Leeds United.
The 29-year-old announced his decision ahead of Northern Ireland's game against Scotland in the Carling Nations Cup at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, tomorrow.
"I was informed on Sunday that George was retiring from international football," boss Worthington told the BBC.
