Sunderland face competition for Barnsley defender Alfie Mawson.
The Daily Mail says Wolves have made a £3.5million offer for Barnsley defender Mawson.
The 22-year-old is also a target for Sunderland and Bristol City. He joined Barnsley in 2015 after allowing his contract to run down at Brentford and played a key role in their promotion campaign.
Wolves have already brought in Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Ola John this week as Walter Zenga bolsters his squad for a promotion charge.
