Sunderland defender John Egan is hungry for more first team action after his loan spell at Crystal Palace.

Egan enjoyed his short loan at Selhurst Park.

He told safc.com: "Being on loan gives you that hunger and feel for being a first-team player.

"It makes you want to kick on and I will keep working hard in training."
