Sunderland have made a triple swoop by landing Valentin Roberge, Cabral and Modibo Diakite.
The three players will join the Black Cats as free agents at the beginning of July as Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio looks to overhaul the squad he inherited from Martin O'Neill.
26-year old French centre-back Roberge will join from Portuguese club Maritimo, 24-year old Cape Verde international Cabral heads to the Stadium of Light from FC Basel and 26-year old Frenchman Diakite will arrive from Lazio.
