Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia is ready to cut loose some of his fringe players.

Sbragia said: "I'm prepared to let some of my fringe players go if the right deal comes in. Some have moved on already and there may be others moving on later this month.

"But I've got no interest in letting any of my core first-team squad leave. The only way that would happen is if someone offers silly money."
