Sunderland boss Gus Poyet admits he's a big fan of basketball - and locals the Newcastle Eagles.
The Uruguayan's father, Washington, was captain of the national side at the Rome Olympics of 1960 and then again in Tokyo four years later.
"I think every Academy should play a bit more basketball because it can help in football, especially with marking," said Poyet, whose brother, Marcelo, was a professional basketball player.
"If you play basketball, certain movements are natural. You mark facing the player and the ball, not turning to face the basket, too many defenders in football turn to face the goal.
"The problem is, basketball is not very popular in England. It needs more television coverage and to get kids playing at a young age. I am going to make basketball popular in England!"
