Sunderland boss Roy Keane has taken a pop at former Ireland teammate and TV pundit Phil Babb after his resignation rumours last week.

Keane admitted: "I found it quite funny. Crazy, absolutely crazy. That was the worst.

"I have had stuff about my players but that was the first about me. I was in Manchester at a meeting on the Friday but people were saying otherwise.

"You just have to take it all with a pinch of salt. If I start losing sleep over Phil Babb, I am in trouble."
