Sunderland boss Steve Bruce says he's willing to play Anton Ferdinand at right-back.

Ferdinand is struggling to find a place at centre-half in Bruce's plans.

And the manager said: "Anton started out his career as a right-back at West Ham, so I know he can play there and it's a position that I have no qualms playing him in in the future."
