Sunderland boss Bruce eager to sell fringe players

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce hopes to raise cash by selling his fringe players.

The Journal says Bruce will try to sell Andy Reid, Nyron Nosworthy, George McCartney and David Healy this month.

Nosworthy and Reid are at struggling Sheffield United, Healy is with Doncaster Rovers, while McCartney is wanted back at Leeds United after three successful months at Elland Road.

Jack Colback is expected to extend his loan spell at Ipswich Town in the Championship.
