Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is pushing to land Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia.
The Mirror says Bruce is hoping to make a TENTH summer signing by landing N'Zogbia.
The Sunderland boss completed deal No.9 yesterday, confirming David Vaughan's arrival on a free transfer from Blackpool.
But he wants one last attacking addition and is ready to rival Aston Villa for the Wigan winger.
Bruce sees N'Zogbia, 25, as the player to create the ammunition for strikers Asamoah Gyan, Connor Wickham, Fraizer Campbell and Stephane Sessegnon.
And he will try to do a deal if he can get the Frenchman for less than the £9million asking price.
