Sunderland have held talks with Arsenal for midfielder Freddie Ljungberg.

The Journal says Roy Keane is understood to have asked Arsenal about Ljungberg's situation in recent weeks. The Swede is expected to leave the north London club this summer, although Manchester City's approach has been met with a more positive response. Fiorentina have also registered an interest.
