Sunderland have sounded out Tottenham about the availability of Niko Kranjcar.
The Daily Mail says Sunderland have made an enquiry for Tottenham midfielder Kranjcar but manager Harry Redknapp is reluctant to sell while Luka Modric's future remains unresolved.
Black Cats manager Steve Bruce is keen to find a new wing signing.
Bruce has been one of the busiest managers in the summer market.
