Suarez comments great for us and 'bad news' for other teams - Liverpool's Dalglish

Luis Suarez's comments that he is happy at Liverpool and keen to remain with the club is 'bad news' for opponents according to manager Kenny Dalglish.

The Uruguayan has recently been linked with a move away from Anfield but he came out this week and made it clear that he wants to remain on Merseyside and Dalglish feels that is a strong threat to other teams in the Premier League but brilliant news for the club itself.

"It might be bad news for other Premier League teams but it is encouraging for us," the Scot told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"Luis has always said he is happy here, so it's great for everyone who supports Liverpool.

"I don't think he has been anything other than a threat to the opposition. We aren't going to analyse every game he has played in, but he's always been a threat.

"We have been delighted with him since he has been here. And we are delighted with the wee man's comments," Dalglish added.

"It's great news that he is happy. We are delighted with his statement and the content of it. It's good news for everyone who supports the club."
