Stuttgart are eager to add the 26-year-old to their squad, but they are seeking a loan deal.

Per The Sun, Phillips wants to leave and does not mind if the deal is permanent or temporary.

He wants to play regular football, with the Bundesliga giants ready to bring him in to the club.

Now they must try and agree a deal with Liverpool, who are hoping to gain a fee in return for his signature.
