Sunderland have been showing interest in VfB Stuttgart striker Pavel Pogrebnyak but the player is happy where he is.
Reports suggest that the Black Cats are keen on the 27-year old Russia international but he has made it clear that he is content at his German Bundesliga outfit.
"I have not been in touch with anyone. I am just focusing on Stuttgart. I like it here and I want to remain here," he told Kicker-Sportmagazin.
Pogrebnyak has also been linked with ambitious Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala but it appears as though he is intent on fighting for his first team spot which he has recently lost to Brazilian-born Germany international Cacau.
