STUNNER! Bernd Leno admits he could quit Arsenal 'for new adventure'

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno cannot rule out a future away from the London club.

Leno has established himself as Mikel Arteta's first-choice goalkeeper, appearing in all but one of the club's Premier League games this season. With his current contract expiring in June 2023, talks between him and the club should be imminent.

The goalkeeper though has revealed that those talks have not yet begun, but insisted he is not concerned.

“No, not yet," he said when asked if he had begun contract talks with the Gunners.

“At this moment it's not the time to speak about the future. I know that I still have two years left and I'm also 29, for a goalkeeper that is not too old."

Leno has also admitted that he would be willing to leave the Gunners.

“I've still some years to go. I'm very happy in the club. I don't know what will come in the future. I'm open for everything: for a new adventure or to stay at Arsenal," he said.

“But, like I said, at the moment I don't think about my future because two years are still a long time. At the moment there are no conversations with the club or something else."
